We’re ISO 27001 Accredited
We’re proud to announce that QuickHostUK has achieved ISO 27001 certification.

What is an ISO certification?
This is an internationally recognised standard that ensures that our information security management systems comply with business, legal, contractual and regulatory requirements.
Founded in 1947, ISO stands for International Organisation for Standardisation. It’s an international standards organisation made up of representatives from different national standards bodies.
ISO originally began in 1926 as the International Federation of Standardising Associations (ISA), focusing only on mechanical engineering. They now have 19,500 International Standards covering almost every aspect of technology and business, from food safety to computers, agriculture to healthcare. An ISO certification means that your products and services are safe, reliable, and of high quality.
What is ISO 27001?
The ISO 27001 certification (also known as ISO/IEC 27001:2013) is the most recognised certification for information security controls, processes, and procedures, as it ensures that proper controls and risk management measures are in place to prevent and combat any potential vulnerabilities in data systems. The ISO 27001 standard also specifies the requirements for an information security management system (ISMS). Typically, an ISMS consists of a set of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical, and technical controls involved in an organisation’s information risk management process.
Why is it so crucial to our industry?
In essence, a data centre is a dedicated space that houses all the critical systems or information technology infrastructure. The information contained within the data centre is critical to the operation of many businesses; therefore, information security is of the utmost importance. In order to ensure customer data confidentiality, integrity, and availability, a data centre must maintain extremely high standards. The ISO 27001 standard plays a significant role in this regard.
Throughout the accreditation process, we developed and implemented an information security management system (ISMS). The ISMS consists of a set of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical, and technical controls involved in our information risk management process. This has allowed us to improve our information security stance and maintain a higher standard of quality. Working towards ISO 27001 accreditation highlights both our commitment to ensuring our customers receive the highest level of data security possible, as well as our investment in the latest technology and developments in our High Wycombe data centre.
We also underwent an audit of the documentation for our ISMS and a full assessment in order to become ISO 27001 certified.
With the ISO 27001 certification, we are able to demonstrate that we have robust and defined procedures in place for information security. As such, we can proudly say that our services are delivered with quality and security in mind.
We continually strive to improve our services to meet or exceed our customers’ needs and expectations, while always complying with regulations and ISO specifications.
