All plans include managed security, patching, and backup management as standard.

Our business email platform runs on SmarterMail within QuickHost’s UK infrastructure.

We manage:

• Mail server configuration and updates
• Spam and antivirus filtering
• Platform monitoring
• Mailbox-level backup and recovery
• Delivery configuration (SPF, DKIM, rDNS)
• Optional dedicated sending IP and hostname

Unlike standard email hosting, customers are not responsible for maintaining the mail server environment.

We provide direct domain registration through:

• Nominet (UK domains, including .co.uk, .org.uk and .sch.uk)
• eNom (international TLDs)

Our DNS platform includes:

• Full DNS record management
• Automated DNSSEC signing
• Separate DNS-only control panel for customers without hosting
• Support for custom nameservers

Customers can manage DNS themselves or request changes through our support team. We regularly configure DNS for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, email platforms, servers, and third-party services.

All domains are billed at a consistent flat annual rate – no introductory pricing followed by inflated renewals.

Fully managed reseller hosting goes beyond traditional “server management.” In addition to maintaining infrastructure, security and performance, our engineering team carries out reseller-level administration tasks on your behalf.

This includes account creation, mailbox setup, DNS configuration, troubleshooting platform issues and investigating performance or stability concerns. Where problems occur, we analyse logs and apply hosting-level fixes where possible, ensuring you are not left diagnosing backend issues yourself.

You remain responsible for your customers’ website content and development, while we operate and maintain the hosting platform that powers it.

Our VPS platform runs on enterprise-grade UK infrastructure with redundant networking and high-performance storage.

Customers receive full control over their server environment, including operating system installation and configuration. QuickHost manages the physical hardware, virtualisation platform, and network infrastructure.

For customers who prefer not to manage their own server stack, our Fully Managed VPS service is available.

Our High Availability Cloud VPS platform runs on clustered hypervisors with resilient shared storage.

If a physical node fails, virtual machines are automatically restarted within the cluster to reduce downtime compared to single-node VPS platforms.

Customers receive full control of their virtual server environment. For organisations that prefer operational support, Fully Managed services can be added during checkout.

Virtual Dedicated Servers combine the flexibility of a virtual machine with dedicated compute resources. CPU and RAM are reserved for your VDS rather than shared or oversold across other customers.

Nested virtualisation is supported, allowing you to run your own hypervisor such as Proxmox or KVM and create virtual machines inside your VDS.

VDS instances are managed through QuickCloud with console access, networking, storage and other standard VM controls. Unlike QuickCloud HA VMs, VDS instances are designed around dedicated performance rather than automatic node failover.

A Virtual Data Centre provides a dedicated allocation of compute, memory, and storage within our clustered cloud infrastructure.

Customers can deploy multiple virtual machines, configure internal networking, and design structured multi-tier environments (web, application, database layers).

For organisations requiring complete infrastructure isolation, private cloud deployments are available on fully dedicated hardware rather than shared clusters.

Fully Managed services can be added for operational oversight of the environment.

Our Cloud Firewall Services are delivered via hosted virtual firewall appliances running in QuickHost’s UK cloud infrastructure.
We manage:

• Ongoing rule management
• Monitoring and alerting
• Platform security patches and updates

Support includes assistance with adding/modifying firewall rules, performance tuning, NAT configurations, and VPN setups.

This is managed security at the network layer, not just a self-administered appliance.

Enterprise Smart DNS is an authoritative DNS service designed for intelligent traffic steering and service resilience.

Create multiple DNS records for the same hostname and control how traffic is distributed using round-robin, weighted or geographic routing. Health checks can monitor individual endpoints and automatically remove failed servers from DNS responses, returning them once service is restored.

Geo-routing uses the requesting resolver’s location to select records based on country, while weighted routing allows you to control the proportion of traffic sent to each endpoint.

The service is managed directly from QuickCloud and can also be controlled programmatically through the API.

Enterprise Smart DNS is not an Anycast service; DNS routing decisions are made at the authoritative DNS layer.

QuickCloud Load Balancers provide a single public endpoint in front of multiple backend servers. Traffic can be distributed between servers using round-robin or weighted routing, while health checks continuously monitor each backend and prevent traffic being sent to unhealthy servers.

For web workloads, HTTPS can be enabled with automatically managed certificates, with optional HTTP-to-HTTPS redirection. Customers can use the automatically assigned QuickCloud hostname or connect their own domains.

Backend servers can be added, weighted, paused or removed without recreating the load balancer, making it suitable for maintenance, scaling and rolling application changes.

Storage Boxes provide independent network storage that can be accessed by multiple machines at the same time. They can be used from QuickCloud VMs, dedicated servers, colocation equipment or systems hosted elsewhere.

Data is stored on redundant dual-parity storage with snapshots, making Storage Boxes ideal for backups, archives, shared files and general bulk storage.

SMTP Relay provides a central outbound mail service for applications, websites, monitoring platforms and servers.

Create relay credentials in QuickCloud, configure your permitted sending domains, then point your application or server at the supplied SMTP endpoint. This removes the need to operate and maintain a dedicated outbound mail server while giving you a consistent delivery path for transactional and system-generated email.

The service is designed for outbound relay rather than mailbox hosting, so existing email accounts and inbound mail can remain with your current provider.

Our colocation services provide secure rack space within UK data centre facilities, with:

• Scalable power allocation
• High-capacity IP transit
• IPv4 and native IPv6 support
• Private VLAN configuration
• Juniper-based switching infrastructure

Optional Fully Managed Colocation services include:

• Proactive monitoring
